NUMBER OF JOBS:  2

BACKGROUND:  Twenty years as an Occupational Therapist (OT)

prepared me for business ownership in Salem, my home town.  My passion

for OT started in 1984 when my grandmother sustained a stroke.  Since

that time my goal has been to come back home and assist her in any way I

could with her rehabilitation.  In 1991, I pursued my goal of private practice

serving nursing homes, a rural hospital, and large metro hospitals, working

for others as a clinical coordinator, in-house therapist, Rehab manager

& therapist, and in UE/hand therapy.  Throughout the years, I have stayed

connected to my roots, where my heart has always wanted to serve.

ASSISTANCE REQUESTED: Business Plan

RESULTS:  New business

QUOTABLE:  “Peace through Projections - SEFP and the business planning

process was easy and accessible, yet thorough.  Not knowing what to expect from

a free service, Nancy was very educational and thought provoking.  She asked

open-ended questions.  I had a skeleton business plan however, through the process

I valued the full body of information provided to me, especially the projections.

SEFP has excellent resources available which expedited data retrieval for a specific

plan which gives me the peace of mind to now focus on my patients!”
