BACKGROUND:  The Parker Museum has become a gift to the Parker City but the

City is not interested in disposing of the 4-floors of memorabilia or cleaning out the

building.  The Parker FFA agreed to clean out the facility and sell the

salvageable items online, which kick-started this business, selling items on

www.parkerFFA.shutterfly.com and www.craigslist.com.

ASSISTANCE REQUESTED:  Business planning and information

RESULTS:  A new business

QUOTABLE:  “Before a decision was made whether or not to tackle the City’s proposal,

70 of the 88 FFA members agreed to work on this project and get dirty.  Managers

volunteered to oversee the products, marketing, and the bookkeeping.  What a great

learning opportunity!  We are grateful for the business planning services provided

by SEFP and look forward to offering these same services to others needing the help.”
