During a winter meeting in Mitchell, South Dakota, Greg Henderson, District III Director and Lori Cowman SBDC Technician
shared publicly that "they do not have the time to do all that SEFP does for the clients".
The same quote was reiterated by Mark Slade, Regional SBDC District II Director at a presentation in April 2009.
Mark shared his current 6-county statistical 5-year report (2004-2009), of which Turner County is a SBDC service area.
* Mark's Turner County clients equal 4.8% of the total client base due to SEFP collaborations (3.2% of population).
* Forty point eight percent (40.8%) of the Turner County clients are funded by using SEFP assisted business development plans.
* Turner County has the HIGHEST rate of funding success, in part, because of SEFP assistance.
