Successful planning contributed to the 2003 Investor Reception held on April 3 in the Marion Legion Hall.  A welcome from Paul Engbrecht, Mayor of Marion was extended to the 70 attendees.

 

The pork meal was catered by Party Time Catering & Event Planning and Kathy Pearson was one of the featured clients who told the story of the assistance received from the Facilitator.  Others speaking included Dan Mehlhaf representing Dakota Wigglers of Menno, Ted Schaeffer of Viborg Development and Jim Kasten of Jim’s Sporting Supply in Parker.

 

President Philip Svartoien addressed the crowd by giving an overview of the past transitional year and introducing the board and various speakers.

 

Nancy Larsen capsulated the eight months on the job for SEFP with power point slides and thanked the SEFP Board of Directors,  SBDC  individuals for preparation

of financial reports of client business planning and Investors for continued financial support.
