BACKGROUND:  Collin first started the welding business in March 2004 providing service to area farmers and businesses with repair needs with plans to expand into die sharpening.  Box companies located in the USA create every conceivable box for their customers and need to have the dies sharpened periodically to continue cutting boxes.

ASSISTANCE REQUESTED:  Business Planning

RESULTS:  An expanded business

QUOTABLE:  “Sue Stoll helped me in 2004 and now since Parkston became part of the SEFP, Nancy Larsen assisted with my whole business plan.  It took 6-months to develop the business plan and another 6-months to put together the financing.  Since this expansion is a huge investment, the bankers were glad to read all about my business idea and how I planned to pay back the loan.  I am very grateful for the assistance.
