SEFP Board of Directors

The SEFP Board of Directors are “stars” in their own right, according to Nancy Larsen.  They are visionary leaders passionate about where they live and work, who will do whatever it takes to raise the rural economy.  Throughout the past two years of strategic planning they have reached the implementation stage and one strategy was to produce a DVD to better market SEFP.  East River Electric Power Inc. agreed to allow their videographer, Bob Gale time to produce a DVD marketing piece.  The Board is appreciative too for the Marion School Administration offering the Library space during the filming July 23.

Twenty four clients were given the opportunity and SEFP is appreciative to the seven who volunteered their time and travel to Marion for SEFP’s advantage.  The “Stars” include:  Curt Lukes of Parker Ford Inc., Parker; Donna Waltner of Printed Impressions, Freeman; Reed Friese of Cherrybean Coffee Co., Parker; Dale Weiss of Menno Food Market, Menno; Deanna Barr of The Back Woods, Marion; Rich Dant of Rich’s Welding & Machine, Freeman and Gerad Robertson of Xcelerated Physical Therapy & Rehab Specialists LLC, Parker.

Ernesto Sirolli, of the Sirolli Institute will also provide a message on the SEFP DVD and that takes technical expertise on both ends of the production to incorporate another videographer’s video.

Much goes into being a star, just like being a business owner; planning, organizing, scheduling, timing, equipment, quiet evaluation & editing, inventory, detail reviews, teamwork and marketing.

Demonstrating what SEFP is, what SEFP does and the value of SEFP to the economic development of our service territory has always been a challenge.  Hopefully, we can use this DVD production to help increase the exposure of SEFP to potential clients, investors and corporate partners.  DVD circulation  is projected to begin in October 2008.  It is hoped the video can also be accessed at www.sefp.com.
