seed handling & seed treatment system so they wrote a business plan and VAAG

application with SD USDA, which included constructing an office facility in an existing

building and adding a new full time sales position.

ASSISTANCE REQUESTED: USDA Value-added Agriculture Loan application

RESULTS:  An expanded business with one more employee

QUOTABLE:  “When we called Nancy Larsen at SEFP, she didn’t waste any time

traveling to rural Hurley.  After the first meeting and through several emails, the

VAAG loan application was complete.  All we can say about SEFP is “Excellent

and Outstanding”.  Together with the great work of Brian Weier of Merchants

State Bank, we couldn’t have done this without the collaboration.

Thank you for being there for us.”
